2021 is The Year of Science in Russia. In order to celebrate it Ministry of Education and Science present the Battle for Science esports competition.

The student teams from all around the world will compete in 5x5 mode in one of the most popular MOBA games — League of Legends.

The battle begins on December, 6.

Based on results of 2 open qualifiers 8 best teams will compete in play-off. And on December, 15, two best teams will clash in the Moscow Grand Finals for the prize pool of 1 000 000 RUR.
